Immoral Behaviour

Description

During centuries sex between women wasn't considered real sex.

In a trial against two women accused of 'immoral behaviour', Scotland 1811, the judge exonerate them declaring that there was not the minimum possibility that a woman in a bed with another woman could display any immoral behaviour. If a woman hold another woman didn't mean anything.

The rebuke to women was light, unless there were any kind of gadget they could use to emulate a penis to perpetrate a penetration. And what it was punishable was the disobedience of gender role.

"This poor concern about feminine homoeroticism helped to spread a deep ignorance about what women could do among them and how to describe this acts" (Beatriz Gimeno, Historia y análisis político del lesbianismo).

Gah. I still don't get how they could think that Lesbian sex isn't real sex. Coming from a dude's point of view, if two people have sex, isn't that technically sex regardless of gender? stupid gender bias
